Guidelines, Rules & Instructions
Upload your video to YouTube or Vimeo, then submit it to our competition here. Footage used should be from a stay in one of the three Red Sea Diving Safari villages. The video should be edited and with music. Special credit will be given to entrants who create a video with an environmental or conservation theme. Try not to make your video too long – around 5 minutes is an ideal duration. Try to write an introduction to your film, as well as on the YouTube or Vimeo page you upload it to. This will help viewers to fully appreciate and enjoy your video. By entering, entrants confirm that all footage used, narration and all editing carried out is completely their own work and not in breach of any international copyright laws (including music used). Entrants may submit more than one entry, but should only submit each entry once per competition period. If a video is not picked as a winner, it will not be considered for subsequent competition periods but it may be resubmitted in the next period. Competition videos may be used freely by RSDS for promotional purposes with credit to the entrant, but full copyright remains with the entrant. Videos will not be sold to third parties. Inappropriate footage will not be displayed and will be cancelled from the competition. RSDS employees and their family members are not eligible to enter. The judges’ decision is final.
