Accommodation rates per person/ night
Please check the 'Other items' below to be fully aware about mandatory fees payable on site.
Guests should bring their own cosmetics: shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste etc. as these are not provided (except where specified on our accommodation specifications).
All above rates are on full-board basis including normal soft drinks (cola, fanta, sprite), water from dispensers, coffee & tea. Diet drinks, specialty coffees, juices and snacks are subject to extra charge.
Check-in is available from 14:00:
- Early check-in is subject to availability
- Arrival from midnight until 10 AM will be charged 50% of the nightly rate on accommodation rate for early check-in.
- Arrival before midnight will be charged 100% of the nightly rate.
Check-out (vacating the room and payment of the final invoice) should be completed by 12pm (midday):
- Departure from 12 PM until 5 PM will be charged at 50% of the nightly rate (according to availability).
- After 5 PM, 100% of the nightly rate will be charged.
- Unused meals on arrival day will be free of charge on departure day and vice versa. Information about rates charged for extra meals is available from the reception.
Children will be charged according to their age on the arrival date at the following rates:
- Children 0-3 free if staying in parents room
- Children 4+ years - 15 years receive 50% off if staying in parents’ room
- 2 Children 4+ years - 15 years receive 15% off if staying in separate double room
- 3 Children 4+ years - 15 years receive 15% off if staying in separate triple room
- 1 Child in separate (single room) pays adult rate (but no single supplement)
- Children aged 16 or above will be charged the full adult rate

Diving Packages
Credits can be used for a variety of different excursions on our schedule accessed by shore, speedboat or daily boat. Weather or other conditions may limit activities to the house reef. Two dives are offered as orientation dives on the house reef on the first day and guided dives may be taken from the second day. On site activities are booked one day in advance in the diving center and should be reconfirmed at 5pm. Minimum numbers apply to all of our excursions. Please see our factsheet or dive sites page for more information.
On-site package upgrades will be charge at the public rate.
Compulsory fee applies for hyperbaric chamber support program for all divers (Foreigners: €7 / Egyptians & Foreign Residents: 210LE).
Diving activities cannot be guaranteed for those who have not prebooked.
On-site Diving Extras
For divers prices for all the above on-site diving extras apply on top of a house reef diving package/diving day price.
From 1st November our prices for on-site diving activities have increased to include the new entertainment and amusement tax (10%).
Zone A sites from Marsa Shagra & Marsa Nakari are visited for 2 dives per trip only.

PADI Recreational Diving Courses
Courses will not necessarily start upon arrival and could start the following day.
Diving activities cannot be guaranteed for those who have not prebooked.
Rate not including PADI certification/membership fees, or manuals.
Prices for e-Learning courses only offer the in-water portion of your certification. PADI eLearning courses online covers your knowledge development training and gives you unlimited access to an electronic version of the PADI Manual. Prices do not include any charges by PADI for eLearning online materials.
Approximate course durations can be found on our scuba diving courses page and depend on the number of students, weather conditions and diver ability/performance.
A PADI ReActivate course is mandatory for divers who have not dived within the last 12 months, divers complete a crossover from different diving federations to PADI or if the instructor assesses them in their orientation dive as needing a ReActivate.

PADI Materials & Compulsory Items
PADI materials are compulsory starting January 1, 2006. Student can pre-purchase material online or on site in our diving centre. Guests who bring pre-purchased PADI materials should bring proof of purchase. PADI rates for manuals and certification are subject to change without notice.
All teaching materials (e-codes) are non refundable.

Our free diving packages include unlimited free diving on the house reef, freediving buoy station, personal weights, orientation dive, dive shade facilities and house reef zodiac use for the duration of the package.
The free diving buoy station is offered as follows: Up to 3 pax: 1 station, 4-7 pax: 2 stations, 8 pax: 3 stations
For 9 pax or more our RIB station is offered instead of the buoy stations.
Free diving packages are available for a minimum of 2 certified free divers. Those who do not wish to have a package can rent personal weights only, according to our free diving equipment price list.
To ensure availability of free diving equipment, services and facilities, our reservations team must be informed before arrival (as early as possible).

Free Diving Equipment
If you wish to rent free diving equipment we strongly recommend prebooking as we have a small number of items available and priority is given to those taking free diving courses.
Weights are only available for rental by certified free divers.

Tec Diving Rental Equipment & Gases
General Terms & Conditions (applicable to Egyptian/Resident EGP rates only). Bookings are not confirmed until these terms and conditions have been acknowledged (by email) by the lead guest on the reservation. It is the lead guest’s responsibility to ensure all members of the reservation are aware of, and agree to these terms.
- Our price lists are divided into high and low season, priced accordingly. High season rates will be charged for the following dates regardless of the official season and any other discounts will not be valid: 23-31 Dec 2023, 1-5 Jan, 4-16 Apr, 25 Apr - 7 May 2024.
- Prices may be subject to change in case of substantial changes in the foreign currency market or increases in fuel prices.
- Egyptian ID or passport with residency visa will be required at check-in to qualify for Egyptian/foreign resident rates.
- All prices listed on our website include all applicable taxes & service charges.
- Group discounts do not apply to Egyptian/foreign residents.
- At check-in guests with pre-booked reservations through a travel agency should submit their voucher indicating the services that have already been paid for. Services will be offered strictly according to the voucher presented on-site.
- All guests will be required to pay a compulsory environmental fee towards our solar energy project, as specified on our online price lists.
- All divers will be required to pay a compulsory decompression treatment support fee as specified on our online price lists (covering 1 chamber treatment session within 2 weeks of the arrival date. Further treatment is chargeable).
- 30% long stay discount does not apply to Egyptians/foreign residents.
- On-site credit card payments will be charged in EGP.
- Cash payments are accepted in €, $, EGP and £.
- Couples using an Egyptian ID as identification will be required to produce an official, government registered marriage certificate at check-in in order to share the same accommodation. This is not required for foreign passport holders, however foreigner rates will apply.
- A deposit towards diving activities may be required at check-in.
- In some high season periods, including feast periods, reservations are only accepted on a non-refundable basis and our standard cancellation policy does not apply. You may be asked for a non-refundable deposit of up to 100% of the value of your reservation to secure your booking. You will be advised of this at the time of reservation.
- In non-high season periods you may be asked for a deposit up to 50% of the value of your reservation and our standard cancellation fees will apply.
- Our standard cancellation fees are strictly applicable to pre-booked accommodation, diving and transfers: more than 30 days before arrival: 20%, 15-29 days before arrival: 30%, 7-14 days before arrival: 50%, 6 days or less before arrival: 80%, no show: 100%.
- Any special offers and promotions not mentioned at the time of booking will not be applied to any reservation.
- Discounts/special offers/promotions cannot be combined.
- Pets are not allowed at any of our locations. Guests who arrive with a pet will be refused entry and standard cancellation fees will apply.
- Diving activities cannot be guaranteed for those who have not prebooked.
- On-site diving/snorkeling excursions may only be booked after arrival, and are scheduled one day in advance at the diving centre. In the event of no-show for any excursion, a cancellation fee will be charged.
- Guest cars are not allowed past the reception point. Guests will be asked to leave their cars at the car park on arrival and assistance will be given to transport luggage to our accommodation.
- Any special reservation agreements or requests will not be honoured unless agreed in writing (by email).
- Guests departing by car to Cairo should be aware that the new Galala Road reaches an altitude of 700m above sea level, putting you at serious risk of Decompression Sickness (DCS) if you have dived on your departure day. For your safety, please stop diving at least 12hrs before travelling, or take the old road.
