** Residents rates do not apply to foreigners with tourist visas/tourist residency cards - proof of eligibility will be required, otherwise foreigner rates will apply. Please ask if you are unsure.
Accommodation rates per person/ night
All prices include all applicable taxes and service charges.
75 EGP per day / per person environmental fee in Shagra only for solar energy project (obligatory, payable on site).
High season rates will be charged for the following dates regardless of the official season and any other discounts will not be valid:5-9 Oct, 23-31 Dec 2022, 1-9 Jan, 24-29 Jan, 13-26 April, 26 June - 3 July, 20 - 24 July 2023.
Guests should bring their own towels and cosmetics: shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste etc.
All above rates are on full-board basis including normal soft drinks, water, coffee & tea.
Check-in:14:00, Check-out: 12:00, Day use (until sunset) will be billed at half day price and according to availability, late check out until 2pm is free of charge according to availability.
In the case of triple or quadruple occupancy, guests will be charged according to the double occupancy ‘per person per night’ rate.
Children will be charged according to their age on the arrival date at the following rates:
Children 0-3 free if staying in parents room
Children 4+ years - 15 years receive 50% off if staying in parents’ room
2 Children 6+ years - 15 years receive 15% off if staying in separate double room
3 Children 6+ years - 15 years receive 15% off if staying in separate triple room
1 Child in separate (single room) pays adult rate (but no single supplement)
Children aged 16 or above will be charged the full adult rate

- Our price lists are divided into 6-monthly periods (May-October, November-April) and contain high season and low season months, priced accordingly. High season rates will be charged for the following dates regardless of the official season and any other discounts will not be valid: 23-31 Dec 2022, 1-9 Jan, 24-29 Jan, 13-26 April, 26 June - 3 July, 20 - 24 July 2023.
- Prices may be subject to change in case of substantial changes in the foreign currency market or increases in fuel prices.
- Egyptian ID or passport with residency visa will be required at check-in to qualify for Egyptian/foreign resident rates.
- All prices listed on our website include all applicable taxes & service charges.
- Group discounts do not apply to Egyptian/foreign residents.
- At check-in guests with pre-booked reservations through a travel agency should submit their voucher indicating the services that have already been paid for. Services will be offered strictly according to the voucher presented on-site.
- All guests will be required to pay a compulsory environmental fee towards our solar energy project, as specified on our online price lists.
- All divers will be required to pay a compulsory decompression treatment support fee as specified on our online price lists (covering 1 chamber treatment session within 2 weeks of the arrival date. Further treatment is chargeable).
- 30% long stay discount does not apply to Egyptians/foreign residents.
- On-site credit card payments will be charged in EGP.
- Cash payments are accepted in €, $, EGP and £.
- Couples using an Egyptian ID as identification will be required to produce an official, government registered marriage certificate at check-in in order to share the same accommodation. This is not required for foreign passport holders, however foreigner rates will apply.
- A deposit towards diving activities may be required at check-in.
- In some high season periods, including feast periods, reservations are only accepted on a non-refundable basis and our standard cancellation policy does not apply. You may be asked for a non-refundable deposit of up to 100% of the value of your reservation to secure your booking. You will be advised of this at the time of reservation.
- In non-high season periods you may be asked for a deposit up to 50% of the value of your reservation and our standard cancellation fees will apply.
- Our standard cancellation fees are strictly applicable to pre-booked accommodation, diving and transfers: more than 30 days before arrival: 20%, 15-29 days before arrival: 30%, 7-14 days before arrival: 50%, 6 days or less before arrival: 80%, no show: 100%.
- Any special offers and promotions not mentioned at the time of booking will not be applied to any reservation.
- Discounts/special offers/promotions cannot be combined.
- Pets are not allowed at any of our locations. Guests who arrive with a pet will be refused entry and standard cancellation fees will apply.
- On-site diving/snorkeling excursions may only be booked after arrival, and are scheduled one day in advance at the diving centre. In the event of no-show for any excursion, a cancellation fee will be charged.
- Shower towels are only provided in chalets and deluxe chalets. If staying in a tent, royal tent or hut, please bring your own. Beach towels can be rented at a charge.
- Guest cars are not allowed past the reception point. Guests will be asked to leave their cars at the car park on arrival and assistance will be given to transport luggage to our accommodation.
- Any special reservation agreements or requests will not be honoured unless agreed in writing (by email).
- Guests departing by car to Cairo should be aware that the new Galala Road reaches an altitude of 700m above sea level, putting you at serious risk of Decompression Sickness (DCS) if you have dived on your departure day. For your safety, please stop diving at least 12hrs before travelling, or take the old road.
